about

cynthia lugo is a new york-based writer, arts enthusiast, and an incorrigible cinephile. she has curated programs for the museum of the moving image in astoria, new york and has served as an organizer for the providence french film festival. she holds an m.a. in modern culture and media from brown university and a b.a. in english and art history from bryn mawr college. her interests include documentary film, photography, contemporary art, postmodern fiction, advertising, urbanism, and new media. above all, she is passionate about the exploring the relationship between the media that connects us outwardly and the content that moves us inwardly.
